Chiropractic Care Saved My Life
"Yes, the chiropractic lifestyle is definitely in my blood, especially since it saved my life!" admits Dr. Gloar. "I was too young to remember, but I had developed spinal meningitis when I was just two years old, and wasn’t expected to live. My mother "snuck" her chiropractor into the New York hospital where I was hooked up to all these wires and tubes, and he gently began to adjust me twice a day."
"The long and short of it is that I survived and thrived against all odds, and I know I owe it to those adjustments that were so lovingly given to me so many years ago", continues Dr. Gloar.
My Chiropractic Journey
Dr. Gloar went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated in 1981. She has been in private practice in Iowa, Michigan and Arizona, and was an associate professor at Palmer College for 18 years. She has traveled to Brazil twice, supervising and helping senior chiropractic students adjust thousands of indigent natives who desperately needed chiropractic care. She is also a published author in numerous chiropractic journals.
Dr. Gloar has been married for 30 years to Bob, has two kids, Jennie and Joey, and two grandchildren, Katie and Alex. She and her husband are nuts about baseball (The New York Yankees!), and both are prolific readers.
